Baggy Reds v England Feb 2026 Our over 70s team took on the touring England side yesterday. Unfortunately we were unable to inflict an early defeat on the pomms, but the side pushed hard all day. A first international wicket to Herbert, Lower, Kidd and Perry and some first runs to a few as well. An excellent day's cricket, on an immaculate ground, well organised and managed by the inimitable Dixie and his able sidekick Graeme Oliver.

SAVCA is the host for the first of three ODIs against the England Over 70s team who are here to defend the Silver Ashes. Greg Stagg and Mike Riley have been selected in the Aussie side to wrest the urn from the Pomms. The ODI will be on Saturday Feb 7th at Karen Rolton Oval. SA is the host of the Over 40s Nationals this year. Our over 40s are the current nationals champions and are keen to repeat their success on home soil.
