SAVCA 70s take on England
Baggy Reds v England Feb 2026 Our over 70s team took on the touring England side yesterday. Unfortunately we were unable to inflict an early defeat on the pomms, but the side pushed hard all day. A first international wicket to Herbert, Lower, Kidd and Perry and some first runs to a few as well. An excellent day's cricket, on an immaculate ground, well organised and managed by the inimitable Dixie and his able sidekick Graeme Oliver.

Herb continues to pour his heart into Veterans Cricket, recently donating a dozen of his finest to the Silver Ashes tour. Now, you can enjoy the same quality at home. Whether you choose the fresh
